You know that feeling when you found a new tool or way of doing things and you just want to share it with everyone you possibly know? Yep, that’s where I am right now and you are that person.
As you know, I’m all about helping awesome entrepreneurs like you save time in your business so that you can live our your true dream of freedom. And for me, that starts with productivity.
About a month ago, I started using a free app called ATracker (only on iPhone but look up Toggl if you are a Droid user) and it’s been rocking my world (and business!).
Here’s what I do with it…
1. Set up a category for 6-7 main priorities in my life. For me those are, Myself, Workouts, My Marriage (aka Love a Dub Dub below lol), my coaching business (Daydream Achievers), my network marketing business (Beachbody), my social media business that my husband and I run together and… house stuff (it’s not all glamor!).
2. Every time I do anything in one of those categories, I simply click the category and a timer starts. What does that mean? That my time should ONLY be focused in that area. Laser targeted focus in order to get more done quicker. No newsfeed scrolling, no answering calls… only what benefits that area of my life.
3. At the end of the day, I do a review to see where I am spending a majority of my time and if any changes need to be made the following day. For example, am I saying my husband is my number one priority… did I spend focused (meaning no phone or technology) time with him today? Or do I really want my business to grow and all of my time is being spend on house stuff and errands?
I’ve become absolutely ADDICTED to this app and wanted to share it with you guys as well so that you could also work smarter instead of harder.
No more balancing eighty things at once. Instead, this will allow you to focus on one key area which will skyrocket your productivity!
And don’t we all love the sound of that? 😉
