Have you ever felt overwhelmed with comparison when scrolling through social media?
You just want to see what’s going on in the world and next thing you know, an “overnight success” story of someone reaching six figures in their business with “just one simple skill” pops up. You scroll a little more and there’s someone else taking an incredible vacation to a place you have always dreamed of going to. You scroll a little more and there’s someone else buying their dream home.
And here you are… sitting in your fuzzy PJs, without a shower (again), staring at a bank account that reflects nowhere near the amount of work you’ve put in and questioning if you have what it takes to get the needle moving in your business.
If this is you, I can tell you right now that I know this feeling and this message is for YOU.
I used to live in the comparison trap. In fact, I didn’t just live in it, I wrapped it around me like a warm blanket and refused to let it go. Each time… trying to figure out the “secret sauce” everyone else seemed to have that I didn’t.
It wasn’t long until I realized that there was no “secret sauce.”
Those that were successful were simply willing to
- consistently put in the work.
- invest into the resources and/or training they needed along the way.
They shortened their learning curve, increased their income and in the process.. were able to serve others in a way that lit them up inside.
“That’s great and I know I should invest in my business but I don’t have the money. Besides, there’s so many free resources out there!”
Yep… that would be my great mind at work there. That’s also the great mind that completely stalled my own business for over a YEAR with that thinking.
At the time, we had over $100k worth of debt, were living check to check and most days just counting on a wish that we would be ok the next month.
So how was I able to invest into the training and coaching I needed for my business at the time – and still pay off close to $40k worth of debt in the process?
Last week, in my free #daydreamachievers Mastemind Facebook group (if you’re not in there yet, you can jump in by clicking HERE) , we were talking about very topic and I decided to put together a little cheat sheet to show you how I was able to invest in my business AND pay debt at the same time.
Just a simple way to get honest with the money currently have and find the additional money you need to pay off debt AND invest into anything you need for your business. Outsourcing, training, one on one coaching…. whatever it is you need – let’s get you the money for it!
This is the year to have freedom in ALL areas of your life!
